I forgot about this blog!!

Wow- I totally forgot about this blog that I started. Not sure what happened, I guess just life in general. :)

So much has happened over the past year or so. Cooper is now in 3rd grade and Tori is in 1st. We are expecting a third sibling- Becca- due May 26, 2009.

Cooper was diagnosed 2 weeks ago with Type 1 Diabetes. Our life has totally changed.

We are still homeschooling and loving it!

I have had some medical issues this year that include migraines and chronic headaches. The doctors don't know the cause of them and since I became pregnant we can't do any more testing. So maybe in the fall we can continue to reasearch the reason behind my 24/7 dull ache headaches.

Brad still works for Mosaic's Walmart program. HIs schedule works great with our family. We are members of Bellevue now. I am a member of the adult choir and work fulltime on Sunday mornings in teh bed babies. Brad and I also work a Welcome Desk on Sunday mornings and he helps with the sound in K4 and K5 Childrens Worship.

The kids love their Bible Fellowship classes, children's choir on Wednesday's and Mission Kids on Tuesday bible study. They play baseball and soccer with Bellevue. We tried Upward in Fayette County for basketball but are unhapy with it so we will be switching next year to Bellevue basketball.

Cooper's Baptism

Cooper was baptised on Sunday August 26, 2007 by Dr. Joe Jernagin at Bellevue Baptist Church.

What a celebration day!!!!

1st day of school

July 23 was our first day of Kindergarten for Tori and 2nd grade for Cooper. It was a good day with songs, games, English lessons, math lessons, reading books and handwriting lessons. Overall a great first day.

We have a school name: Oakland Christian School
We have a school mascot: Angels
We have school colors: Orange and White
We are working on a school Bible verse

Cooper's Birthday Day Party

Cooper had his party at his grandmother and grandad's. It was filled with all sorts of sports games and then a Gravedigger Monster Truck cake. The boys had a great time playing and spending time together.

The kids first sleepover

The kids had a blast. On Friday afternoon they met at the Collierville Water park. They played for a few hours and then Tori went home with Mrs. Valerie and Cassidy and Jonah came home with Cooper and I. The girls played baby dolls, Polly Pockets and watched movies. The boys played Gameboy, Playstation and Legos. The night was a great success and they are already planning the next!!!

July 4th Celebrations

"Celebrate America- A Call to Prayer" was preformed by a 240 person choir and orchestra on Sunday June 24. Patriotic music was sung, a color guard display as well as prayer time and ended with patriotic streamers and balloons.

Starlight Spectacular on July 1 There were rides, games, food for the kids. Natalie Grant did a small concert, the Bellevue orchestra played and then the night ended with a fireworks show. The kids had a blast!!!
